For the sixth straight year, the Amarillo community has once again voted Dr. Elaine Cook, of Advanced Skin Treatment Center, Best Dermatologist in Amarillo. The honor means a great deal to us because it is the result of the support from our local community and patients, a true people's choice award.

The award is given by the Amarillo Globe-News the Best of Amarillo, featuring the top professionals and businesses chosen by what really counts - patients and the local community of Amarillo. Since 2012, Elaine Cook M.D. has been voted as the top dermatologist in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle area.

Winners will be honored at the Best of Amarillo 2017 Event, held Oct. 26th at the Amarillo Civic Center.

The party will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the North Exhibit Hall and will last until 7:30 p.m. with vendor booths, a DJ and cash bar.

• Guests who dress up in their favorite Superhero costumes will have a chance to win $250 in cash.

• There will be Superhero clues at 20 randomly chosen vendor booths. Two lucky guests who participate in the hunt to find the clues will have a chance to snag cash & prizes in the Cash Cube.

The VIP AFTER PARTY will continue across the hall in the Heritage Room from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at a “Night in Gotham City” with live music from Amarillo’s Best Male & Female Singers and the city’s Best Rock Band.
